i've joined something called 'weekly gratitude' and basically it's about sharing those things you're grateful for each week. sometimes i forget to celebrate all those small things in life that make me feel so happy. it's time to change that.
something i'm really grateful for this week is special memories.
my poor pa is quite sick in hospital and i've been looking through photos of time spent together and the wonderful memories i have with pa have been so comforting when he's so sick and i'm so far away. i've lost my voice at the moment- as in it's completely gone- but today i got to wear a mask and just sit by Pa's bed and hold his hand. Neither of us could speak but just holding his hand was so lovely and i'm and so grateful for the time we had together today.
